While Sam went to Barnes Fragrance Fair, I stayed home, but I was still thinking scented thoughts. Someone I love chatting with every time I go to Barnes is Samuel from Fiole, a wonderful, clever company that offers the opportunity to try new scents, from brands that can be hard to find in the UK.
Fiole has just added some very interesting new brands to the lineup, but this has meant letting go of others, to our great benefit. La Closerie des Parfums, Le Jardin Retrouve and 100Bon are all now on sale at deep discounts, along with home fragrances from Maitre Parfumeur et Gantier. This means you can now swoop in, as I did, and snap up a 50ml bottle of Le Jardin Retrouve Mousse Arashiyama for under £50, down from £120, 50ml bottles of vegan Eau de Toilette from 100Bon for under £30 (I went for Cuir Vegetal and Ambre Sensuel – both crackers), and 50mls of their vegan Eau de Cologne for a ridiculous £17.50. I didn’t get any this time, because I already have a bottle of their Davana et Vanille Bourbon edc to scent my summer days.

However, since things are starting to sell out, I would duck along there now to bag your bargains. And dare I mention, there are also 20% reductions on some of the famous Fiole sample sets?
