Wishing My Dear Readers a Very Happy Christmas

lights

I’m signing off now until the chaos lifts.  The last present is wrapped, the last cards sent, I have bought extra cat food…but wait!  There is one job left to be done- the sherry bottle is still full.  Well that will never do, so I’d better see to that.

I would like to wish every one of my dear readers a happy Christmas and a year filled with happy moments . As my dear late father would have said: “As you slide down the bannister of life, may all the splinters be pointing in the right direction”.

Thank you all of you- it would be a lonely old business writing a blog that nobody read and I am so appreciative of you all.

PS- That’s not my house.

  2. A very Merry Christmas to you and yours!

I don’t have as much time to read and comment as I used to, but I love your blog, and I hope you’ll keep it up for as long as it’s fun.

    1. Dear Laurels,

Out of sight doesn’t mean out of mind my dear. Every reader is very much appreciated, whether or not you have time to “pop in” or not

  3. Hope you had a wonderful Christmas. Still Boxing Day here. There were a couple of things I needed to buy, but then I remembered that Boxing Day is all about the sales and that the stores would be crazy busy (or possibly busy with crazies). And, over the last number of years it has become Boxing Week.
That saying of your late Dad’s is wonderful and I’ll be adding it to my repertoire.
All the best in the new year.

    1. Thank you dear Lindaloo,
Whether you have time or not, your loyalty is warmly appreciated. I often read a blog and enjoy it and just forget to comment or think I have already commented when I haven’t. Lives are so busy now so I appreciate your kind words and loyalty.

      Happy New Year

Now that the turkey (or whatever) is gone i hope you had a great time and that Santa Claus brought you some wonderful things. I look forward to seeing your blogs in 2016. Lots of love, and here’s to our continuing friendship. Patsi xox
